Instructor Bio:


Teresa MacPherson has been involved in SAR since 1990. She has certified multiple dogs in wilderness, disaster, human remains recovery and water search. Teresa and her partners have responded to hundreds of searches, including many disaster missions. These missions include the 1995 OKC bombing of the Federal Building, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Hurricane Ike in Sept, 2008 followed by the Haiti school collapse in October, 2008, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2011 Earthquake & Tsunami in Japan, Superstorm Sandy in 2012, the April 2014 mudslide in Oso, WA and most recently, the 2015 Earthquake in Nepal. Her wilderness and human remains search experience includes numerous responses to call-outs by the FBI, the Secret Service, the CIA, NCIS and State and local law enforcement agencies.

Aside from training and searching, Teresa evaluates and instructs on a local, state, national and international level. Her international travels to instruct include Turkey, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Australia.
