Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office
April 5, 2019 · A huge congratulations to Instructor Kevin Pirtle and K9 Trooper for their successful trail that helped lead to the apprehension on April 4th 2019.
On April 4, 2019 the Palo Pinto Co Sheriff’s office responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. A short time later the vehicle was located in the Graford area and a male subject fled from that vehicle into a heavily wooded area in an attempt to evade detention. Numerous personnel from the Sheriff’s office along with members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol and a canine team from Erath County joined in on the search for the individual. Deputies tracked, located, and apprehended the suspect, who was still in the wooded area several miles to the north, after about a 5-hour search. #BackTheBLUEbonnets
