Tracking is human’s version of how we think scent works – Man trailing is dog showing us how scent works.

I enjoy using the Kocher method as it is a very positive reward-based system, keeping the dogs motivated for the job at hand and in doing so achieving brilliant results. You want a dog to work for you because they want to, not because they are being made to and I believe the Kocher method achieves this beautifully by keeping training fun for handler and dog while creating confident k9 handler teams that can successfully work in a multitude of different environments.
