Instructor Bio/testimonial:
As a lead evaluator for SARTECH II Area Search I have had the privilege of certifying numerous canines from all over the northeast.
As an AKC approved Canine Good Citizen & S.T.A.R. puppy evaluator I administer both tests. I work with dog owners to ensure that they understand & meet the various requirements for certification.
As a lieutenant in the Nissequogue Fire Department my main responsibility lies with the ambulance company, however, I also head up the fire department's K-9 Search & Rescue Unit.
Testimonial:
The Kocher Method is the most successful method of training because it has proven itself over & over again. I agree that positive reinforcement & simple method are clearly the best way to develop both the handlers & their canine partners.
